I’ve spent 15 years helping not-for-profit organisations raise money, and in that time, I’ve written hundreds of successful grants and tenders, helping organisations secure millions of dollars in philanthropic income.

My clients range from small community food services supporting people experiencing homelessness, to large multifaceted organisations managing hundreds of millions in programs. What they’ve had in common is a need for someone who understands both the craft of grant writing and the strategy behind building a sustainable funding program.

During my work, I’ve seen two problems repeat themselves. Some teams are drowning in data; they pay for access to hundreds of potential grants, but there is no clear path to a compelling case. Others have projects that are genuinely ready to be funded, but can’t find the funders whose priorities align with their work. I operate in that space between the funder and the program, sifting through the data, translating what your organisation does into something funders recognise as their own mission and working to connect the two.
